I greatly appreciate this recent posting on Brian. Brian and I (Cathy Parker growing up) grew up together, and I remember starting in 2nd grade Brian being so much larger than his classmates, which was hard on him. However, the memory that I cherish is when I was 27 and working hard to make positive changes in my life. I was struggling one day and I called a lady friend, asking for assistance, I was needing someone to talk with; her response was that she would be right over. Much to my surprise my friend came, accompanied with Brian, and she, and especially Brian, gave me the understanding, and encouragement that I was needing to continue with the changes that I was striving to make. Brian was instrumental in helping to strengthen my resolve. Brian was a very kind, caring and compassionate individual.
